Anytime you increase the length in your nails, whether it be press-ons or tips, daily activities can diminish the length of time they last. From opening soda cans, to unbuckling your seatbelt, to opening car doors, you will need to learn how to adjust the way you perform certain tasks if you want to keep your nails from breaking or falling off.

-Wear gloves when washing dishes or if hands will be submerged in water for long periods of time

-Avoid oils when using sticky tabs as your application choice

-Try to avoid using your nails as the primary source of actions- this increases the risk to break or pop off,

-use your knuckles

-back of fingers (scooping)

-pads of fingers, instead of the tips to pick things up

-If you need to, use everyday objects to help you (opening a can, use a spoon or a key)

-Slide objects off of tables versus picking up with your fingertips
